Its quite hard to move paste through the tubes. The squeezer contraption put a lot of pressure on the syringe. The plunger started to deform a little.

Looks good Ian. Dispensing paste or any other viscous fluid can be fun. The easiest way to do it is usually with compressed air, the video below I was doing some tests with a RTV silicone using my laser cutter’s x/y.
The kit of several syringes, many tips, and the air hose attachment was <$10 off aliexpress from memory. Then I’m just using a cheap 4V210 air solenoid to do the compressed air control. So all up < $20 in parts.
