It has been suggested that the best way to manage the committee authorising tool and equipment purchases would be to do the same as for keyholder nominations, and I think that’s a great idea (omnibus be damned).
There’s not much that can be done before we’ve decided on a battery system in the other thread, but we can at very least discuss the tools here, ask what specifications the community at large would like, before settling on a specific make and model, and then proposing such a purchase to the committee.
I’ll post this now so we can discuss the format of this very thread first, but I think using the tried and true meathod already used for keyholder nominations should work well.
