Does anyone know where I could find an AR.Drone conversion kit for PX4 autopilot?
I guess I’ve missed the boat because none of the shops I’ve found that used to sell them actually still sell them.
I don’t think it’s being manufactured at this time - hence being out of stock.
An option would be to buy a Pixhawk and solder up the appropriate connectors yourself.
Is it just connectors that need to be reworked, or did the old PX4ARIO do electrical conversions too?
Now that I’ve had a look at the PX4ARIO schematic (https://pixhawk.org/_media/modules/px4ioar-schematic-v1.2.pdf), there’s a fair amount of electrical conversion (mosfets for the motor drivers, etc) too.
So you would need a few motor controllers and a power regulator too.
I’ve found “DroneFever” in the USA whose website claims to have stock of the item. I wonder if they are even still in business? Let’s see if they respond to my request for information.
