New visitor guide

Some dot points to walk through with new visitors to the space, tailor this to their interests:

  • Opening times - when is space regularly open?

  • Opening announcements - where can they follow these

    • Facebook group - “Space openings” chat
    • Forum - “Space openings” thread
    • Discord #announcements
    • Instagram stories

  • What do we do - work on our own projects, communal projects, and hang out together

  • Ask if they have a project in mind/what they’d like to work on - then show/go through any relevant equipment

  • Payments - for casual visits a donation of their choice, for regular members $50/month - pay at door with Square or sign up online (Square subscription - Monthly membership - Canberra Makerspace)

  • How can they contact us/stay in touch
