I got an old IBM T221 LCD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_T220/T221_LCD_monitors
which is 12years old very first 4K display but it is missing power supply so now I am looking for any just to test the monitor if it is totally dead or not. Can anyone help? Thanks!
I am Sydney based, so cannot help as much as others. But there are two solutions:
a) Jaycar has a power supply that will suit, at the bargain basement price of only $400, minus any trade card discount.
b) The Dick Smith 12V 25A Power Supplies that a heap of the members of the group have will go close to 16V. Mine unloaded will do about 15.8V. I do head down occasionally, but it does depend on work. I am sure that someone will have one of these Power Supplies around

400$ for something which I might not need (it is a big question if the display is still alive and this is why I am looking for 30min alone with a suitable PSU) is bit too much
I’ll probably get something for 80$ from ebay, there are options.
Looks like I need to come down to Canberra, but it will probably not be until after 10 September - and I can bring the power supply with me then
