Committee meeting

Next Tuesday (23 September) is a scheduled committee meeting. I think we need to have one, who is available to attend?

Agenda items:

  • working bees
  • annual report

Any other topics for the agenda? If you can’t make it, when would you be available?

If most people are available, I think we might as well go ahead next Tuesday. But so far only Calum has replied. Who else is available next Tuesday? Who prefers the following Tuesday when Stephen is available?

I can make next Tuesday, but not the following Tuesday.

So far only three people have said they can make it tonight - me, Calum and Cameron.

Stephen is in QLD this week but can come next week. Like Cameron, I can’t make it next week.

Geoff, Adam and Tim, can you be there tonight? Not much point meeting if we don’t have a quorum.

Hello Tim, I thought you had stepped down as treasurer but were staying on in a general committee position. Up to you whether you think you have time for that or would prefer to not be on committee for now.

Given the lack of a quorum I’m going to make plans to work late tonight. I
should be free both of the next two Tuesdays.

Cameron, Adam and I had an informal discussion about the working bees with a few members who were at MHV last night and the consensus was to keep going with the current full day Saturday ones. The next one will be on Saturday 11th October and Paul (@csirac2_) has offered to help with promoting it on the wiki, forum and facebook. The previous weekend is a long weekend so we thought it was better to leave it a week in case people were away.

The annual reporting is on hold for few weeks until Adam and I have more time.
