The UART has 8 hardware bytes on RX and TX. It supports unlimited (up to memory size) software buffering.
I do not know what the reason is, but at 115200 I often get the device to go into “crazy” mode. It is repeatedly dumpig parts of the recent messages onto the USB connection, and this continues even after I shut down the Creator, power down the PSoC and power it up again. I cannot stop it short of leaving it unpowered for 10-15 minutes…
Clicking “Program” says it did it. The rubbish continues even after I remove the USB bridge wires (between the PSoC4 and the PSoC5).
I just reactivated my membership and tuned into the forum to find out I had missed this interesting workshop. I have been considering getting a psoc 4 to play with.
Is there any chance it will run again?
