Thanks to the continuing support of the kind people at M5 Networks Australia, MHV now has a second voip phone installed downstairs. Both phones allow outbound calls to local numbers by dialing 0 first. Incoming calls can be answered on either phone. No more running upstairs to try to get to the phone.
While installing the phone downstairs we’ve discovered that the network switch down there seems to need configuring, if you plug into it you don’t get an ip address. Plugging into the wifi access point does work so we’ve done that for now. I’m adding that to the MHV todo list, please fix it if you know how.
