Autonomous Farming

This guy has a bunch of videos involving automation of farming equipment. Quite interesting to see that he’s made sure to keep sensible failsafes in place.

Australia once led the world in this area and the history of the combine harvester is amazing. Done by Sunshine Industries in Victoria I believe.

Before that, the traditional tool was the plough.Granting of the Plough Plate and Zacharia Sitchin is one really interesting guy to read up on about the really early origins of farming practices.

As I’m currently in Europe at the moment, one interesting thing is to see potatoes with manual marks from hand farming. They’re just like scratches from the shovel into the vegetable, and because of the farming methods in Australia, you don’t see them there.
