I had some success with driving WS2812 Coloured LEDs from the my ESP8266 and will be happy to help others with any related projects.
I’m thinking of bringing some along to Electronics Wednesday.
As we were playing with this week, the temperature controlled RGB-Led.

There seems so many possible uses of ESP8266’s and RGB-Leds. If anybody has suggestions for projects, bring the idea’s along and we can see if we can make it.
One thing I’d like to have going by then is MQTT over the network updating. That will open up possibilities for getting lots of inputs from lots of different places.
